The Olympic competitions bring to light the talent of Israeli athletes in several fields. At 11:00 and 16:00, 18-year-old Daria Atmanov will compete in an individual competition in artistic gymnastics. Three years after Linoy Ashram’s incredible success, Atmanov is trying to rise again after injuries and mixed results, and hopes to reach the finals and compete again for the medals. Russian gymnasts, the traditional contenders for medals, are not competing for political reasons, but strong contenders such as Daria Varpolomayev and Sofia Raffaele are expected to be strong contenders.

At 12:43, the last sailings of Nitai Hasson and Noa Lasri in the 470 sails will take place. The two, who qualified for the medal sailing from eighth place, will try to improve their final position in the sailing with a double score, but they have no real chance of a medal. The sailings were postponed on the day due to difficult wind conditions, which adds to the challenge of the Israeli duo.

At 14:13 Gal Zuckerman will compete in kite surfing in the semi-finals. The competition in Marseille encountered many delays due to a lack of wind, making the road to the podium especially difficult for Zuckerman. She finished the preliminary heats in 10th place, which leads her to the semifinals where she will face the top surfers such as Daniela Moroz of the USA and Elena Langwiler of Switzerland. Zuckerman will start the semifinals at a disadvantage, having to fight to advance to the final. Again with significant challenges and she will start the final with a points disadvantage, which requires her to perform well to reach the podium.
