The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure announced today (Thursday) that regulated fuel prices will be updated at midnight between Saturday and Sunday (November 30, 2024 – December 1, 2024), bringing another reduction in gasoline prices.
A Drop of 8 Agorot: Gasoline Prices Updated Downward
The maximum price for a liter of 95-octane unleaded gasoline at self-service stations, including VAT, will be 7.12 NIS per liter starting in December, a decrease of 8 agorot compared to the previous month. Consumers opting for full-service refueling will continue to pay an additional 24 agorot per liter, unchanged from the last update.
In Eilat, where prices do not include VAT, the maximum price for a liter of gasoline will be 6.09 NIS per liter, a decrease of 7 agorot compared to November. The full-service surcharge will also remain unchanged at 20 agorot per liter.

Monthly Fuel Consumption:
1,500 kilometers ÷ 12 kilometers per liter = 125 liters of fuel per month.
Price Reduction Per Liter:
8 agorot per liter (the decrease in the price of self-service gasoline).
Monthly Savings:
125 liters × 0.08 NIS = 10 NIS monthly savings.
While the reduction in fuel prices may not seem dramatic, the savings for an average driver could amount to approximately 10 NIS per month. Though this is a relatively small sum, when multiplied by millions of drivers, it represents a significant nationwide reduction in fuel expenses. The savings are even greater for drivers covering long distances or fleet operators consuming hundreds or thousands of liters of fuel monthly.
