The Israeli government has approved a proposal to establish direct flights between Israel and Argentina. This strategic initiative aims to deepen the economic and diplomatic ties between the two countries and encourage airlines to operate regular, nonstop commercial routes. The plan was put forward by Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich.

Enhancing Israel’s Role as a Leading Economic Partner in Latin America
The decision includes the creation of an implementation mechanism, to be overseen by the Ministry of Finance through the Accountant General, in order to support and ensure the success of the new flight route. This move is expected to expand cooperation in the fields of investment, innovation, trade, and industry—solidifying Israel’s standing as a key economic partner in Latin America.
