Enhancing Israel’s Role as a Leading Economic Partner in Latin America

The decision includes the creation of an implementation mechanism, to be overseen by the Ministry of Finance through the Accountant General, in order to support and ensure the success of the new flight route. This move is expected to expand cooperation in the fields of investment, innovation, trade, and industry—solidifying Israel’s standing as a key economic partner in Latin America.

The initiative was developed in coordination with Argentina’s ambassador to Israel, Rabbi Shimon Axel Wahnish, following diplomatic discussions between Israel’s Foreign Minister and his Argentine counterpart, Gerardo Werthein. The decision was also shaped by Rabbi Wahnish’s recent visit to Israel.
