Today (Wednesday), the IDF revealed documentation from a medical facility established inside Syrian territory, aimed at providing care to Syrian Druze civilians following exchanges of fire with supporters of the new regime in Damascus.
In recent weeks, forces from Division 210 and the IDF Medical Corps have been operating a mobile forward triage and treatment center near the village of Hader in southern Syria. The facility was established to provide medical aid and support to the local Syrian Druze population. So far, over 500 Syrian civilians have been treated at the facility.
IDF Statement on the Operation:
“The IDF continues to operate in Syria to ensure the safety of Golan Heights residents and to establish a security buffer zone, while also providing humanitarian aid to the local population,” the military said in a statement.

Diplomatic Developments:
Meanwhile, Reuters reported yesterday that, for the first time in years, direct talks are taking place between Israel and Syria. According to the report, several face-to-face meetings between senior security officials from both countries have taken place in recent weeks, with the aim of easing tensions along the border and preventing escalation into military conflict.
Key Security Figures Involved:
According to five sources familiar with the matter, this development marks a significant shift in a region with a long-standing history of hostility. On the Syrian side, talks were led by Ahmad al-Dalti, a senior security official recently appointed governor of the Quneitra district—which borders the Golan Heights—as well as the Suwayda province.
