The Tel Aviv District Police’s Central Unit and the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) are continuing their investigation into the thwarted terrorist attack involving explosive devices planted on buses in Bat Yam and Holon. Today (Tuesday), a serious indictment was filed at the Samaria Military Court against a man in his 30s from Nablus—the brother of the terrorist who carried out the attack. He is charged with committing an act of terror in assisting the terrorist to prepare the explosives and helping him evade security forces. Four explosive devices were hidden on the buses, and miraculously, no injuries occurred.
According to the indictment, the defendant dismantled parts of one of the bombs and connected wires to its activation mechanism. The document also states that in early February 2025, he purchased approximately 100 nails and two boxes of nail gun pins, intended to enhance the bomb’s destructive impact.

Additional indictments forthcoming
As part of the joint investigation, three more suspects—also residents of Nablus in their 30s —were arrested. Investigators believe the three were involved in planning and executing the attack. Tomorrow (Wednesday), a serious indictment is expected to be filed against one of them, accusing him of helping the terrorist hide after he fled to Palestinian-controlled territory, as well as involvement in the planning of the attack.
