In response to the massive wildfire in the Jerusalem area, and fires across the country, the “Generation of Victory” reservists movement has launched a significant new initiative. The movement, which brings together thousands of officers from across Israel, is once again mobilizing—this time, with a major civilian effort.

Coordinating Relief and Volunteer Efforts
On Wednesday afternoon, the movement announced the opening of civilian command centers across the country, organized by region. According to the movement, the goal is to provide an immediate response for citizens, advance local initiatives, and coordinate relief and volunteer efforts.

The civilian command centers will serve as central points for community support, real-time problem-solving, strengthening public resilience, and ensuring mutual responsibility wherever state systems fall short.

“Not Only at the Borders, But at the Heart of Israeli Society”
A statement from the “Generation of Victory” movement read: “We’re fighting for our home—not only at the borders, but also at the heart of Israeli society. We will not stand by while our land burns. Just as we stood ready when called to serve, we now stand ready again—shoulder to shoulder, citizens for citizens. We call on Israeli society to step up and take part, and to show that mutual responsibility is the driving force of our nation.”
