According to the IDF, the purpose of the flight was to practice operational communication between the Israeli Air Force and CENTCOM (U.S. Central Command), and to prepare for various scenarios regarding regional threats.

Bunker-Busting Bombs Have Already Arrived in Israel
About a month ago, the Washington Post reported that Israel had already received bunker-busting bombs from the U.S. capable of striking underground nuclear facilities in Fordow, but it remains unclear whether Israel can rely on full American support in the event of an attack.
According to the report, U.S. intelligence assessments suggest that an Israeli strike could occur within the first six months of 2025 if no agreement is reached with Iran. While the American administration believes such an attack would delay Iran’s nuclear program by only six months, Israeli officials are confident it could achieve a significant delay of a year or more.
