Terror Attack in North Israel, Ten Injured in Deadly Car-Ramming Incident

At least ten people were injured and suffered varying degrees of wounds in a car-ramming terror attack at Karkur Junction. The terrorist was neutralized on the spot by security forces.

At least ten people were injured, two of them in critical condition, in a car-ramming terror attack at Karkur Junction. According to reports, two police officers at the scene sustained stab wounds.

Emergency responders are providing medical treatment and have evacuated six of the injured to Hillel Yaffe Medical Center. Among them, two are in critical condition, two in serious condition, one in moderate condition, and six have sustained minor injuries. Additionally, two more individuals with minor injuries were transported from the scene.

Terrorist Neutralized – Search Underway for Additional Suspects
Police have reported that following a short pursuit, the suspect in the car-ramming attack was apprehended. The attacker is a 24-year-old Arab-Israeli resident of Ma’ale Iron with no prior criminal or security record.

Police spokesperson, Deputy Commissioner Assi Aharoni, stated: “The terrorist has been neutralized, and police forces continue to conduct searches to locate any additional suspects involved.”

Security Forces Reinforced in Hadera 
Following the terror attack, the Hadera Municipality announced an increase in security patrols throughout the city. Mayor Nir Ben Haim is in contact with the local police station commander and has instructed the municipal security and policing division to enhance their presence in the area.

Medical personnel at the scene described the harrowing experience. United Hatzalah medics who arrived at the site, stated: “A vehicle struck multiple pedestrians on the sidewalk. We provided aid to around ten injured individuals, aged 20 to 40, with varying degrees of injuries, and also assisted those suffering from anxiety at the scene.”

Police continue to investigate the incident and examine all circumstances surrounding the attack.
