Australian news anchor Chris Kenny of Sky News Australia struggled to hold back tears yesterday (Wednesday) during a broadcast reporting the return of the remains of Shiri, Kfir, and Ariel Bibas.
A Bloodthirsty Extremist Organization
On live television, fighting back tears and struggling to speak, Kenny expressed his pain over the heartbreaking news: “This is the nightmare we feared since the early hours of this trauma, of this horror, over 16 months ago.”
In his opening monologue, Kenny described the world’s shock at the actions of the terrorist organization Hamas. “If you wanted further proof of the horrors of the conflict in the Middle East and the brutality of Hamas terrorists, it comes today in the form of an announcement from that bloodthirsty extremist organization,” he said.

They Were Alive When These Monsters Kidnapped Them
He continued, voice trembling: “Hamas announced that the remains to be released on Thursday will be from the Bibas family—Shiri and her two small children, Kfir and Ariel, who were nine months and four years old when they were abducted on October 7. This is the horrific news we have feared since the early hours of this atrocity. They were alive when these monsters kidnapped them. Now they are dead. They are dead only because these evil terrorists kidnapped them.”
Today, Shiri Bibas-Silverman and her two children, Kfir and Ariel, along with Oded Lifshitz, will return home. Security agencies, the IDF, and the ISA (the Shin Bet) are preparing for the identification process and the transfer of the remains to their families.

According to estimates, the Red Cross is expected to receive the remains and transfer them to the IDF within the Gaza Strip around 09:00, Thursday. A military ceremony will take place at the scene, during which the coffins will be wrapped in the Israeli flag, and after that, they will be transported to Israel for further identification.
