Israel’s National Security Council (NSC) issued a travel alert on Monday, warning Israeli nationals abroad about potential “Day of Rage” events expected to take place tomorrow (Tuesday) in support of the Palestinian cause.
According to the NSC, calls have surfaced on social media for widespread protests, disruptions, and demonstrations in cities around the world, largely driven by pro-Palestinian organizations. Authorities are concerned that such gatherings could escalate into violence and be exploited by lone-wolf attackers or terror sympathizers targeting Israelis or Jews.
Increased Threats Since Outbreak of War
The NSC notes that since the outbreak of the “Swords of Iron War”, there has been a notable increase in the activity of extremist elements around the world, including inflammatory and violent rhetoric. Based on current intelligence, the NSC has outlined the following safety guidelines for Israelis abroad:

- Avoid areas of protest and potential unrest, and remain highly vigilant, especially near known demonstration zones.
- Refrain from displaying Israeli or Jewish symbols in public spaces to avoid drawing attention.
- Follow local law enforcement instructions and be aware of surroundings at all times.
The NSC emphasized that the upcoming day is considered high-risk from a security standpoint, and travelers should exercise heightened caution.
