Sderot Municipality and Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs arranged an event hosting ambassadors from 25 UN member states in the National Digital Center in Sderot today (Sunday). The delegation will focus on the city’s efforts at powering through difficult times following the horrors of October 7 and rebuilding.
From Around the World
The ambassadors visiting come from the Czech Republic, the Marshall Islands, Samoa, Nigeria, Tuvalu, South Sudan, Hungary, the Central African Republic, Timor-Leste, Fiji, Malawi, the Solomon Islands, Nauru, the Dominican Republic, Moldova, Slovakia, Ecuador, Argentina, Micronesia, Ethiopia, Ivory Coast, Panama, Albania, and Tanzania.
The visit will begin with a special briefing by Gitit Botera, Director of the National Digital Center, who will present the center’s activities and its contribution to Sderot’s technological and civil resilience since the start of the war.
Later, the ambassadors will meet with Sderot Mayor Alon Davidi, who will share the city’s journey through the challenges following the October 7 attack—how Sderot coped with trauma, maintained community resilience, and continues to rebuild and grow stronger.

Fighting Spirit, Faith, and Hope
