A bipartisan delegation of U.S. Congress members visited the Western Wall today (Wednesday) as part of an official tour in Israel.

Praying for Peace and Strengthening Bilateral Ties
Leading the delegation was Congressman Darrell Issa, accompanied by Joe Wilson, Chuck Edwards, Jim Costa, Jonathan Jackson, and Jim Baird—representatives from various states including California, Carolina, Florida, Illinois, and Indiana. The congressional members received an overview of the Western Wall’s history, toured the Western Wall Tunnels, and placed notes among the ancient stones. At the conclusion of their visit, they prayed for peace and the reinforcement of the strategic alliance between Israel and the United States.

Rubio: The U.S. Administration Is Committed to Hostages’ Liberation
Earlier this week, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio visited Israel, meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, President Isaac Herzog, Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar, and Opposition Leader Yair Lapid. During his visit, Rubio emphasized the U.S.’s commitment to freeing hostages, stating it as a “moral obligation.” He also affirmed that the U.S. would act to dismantle Hamas and prevent Iran’s nuclear armament. Rubio’s visit, alongside the congressional delegation at the Western Wall, reflects ongoing American support for Israel in the political and strategic arenas.
