U.S. President Donald Trump issued a strong statement today (Monday) against Iran and the Houthi rebels in Yemen, making it clear that Washington will no longer allow attacks by the Tehran-backed militia.

“Let nobody be fooled! The hundreds of attacks being made by Houthi, the sinister mobsters and thugs based in Yemen, who are hated by the Yemeni people, all emanate from, and are created by, IRAN. ,” Trump wrote on social media. “Any further attack or retaliation by the “Houthis” will be met with great force, and there is no guarantee that that force will stop there.”

“Iran Plays the Victim – But It Is Dictating Every Move”
In his statement, Trump accused the Iranian regime of having complete control over the Houthis’ operations and of orchestrating attacks against American and allied targets in the region.

“Iran has played “the innocent victim” of rogue terrorists from which they’ve lost control, but they haven’t lost control. They’re dictating every move”, he stated.

The U.S. president emphasized that his administration holds Iran directly responsible for every Houthi attack and that any further fire from the militia will be considered a direct Iranian action, warranting a direct response.

“Every shot fired by the Houthis will be looked upon, from this point forward, as being a shot fired from the weapons and leadership of IRAN, and IRAN will be held responsible, and suffer the consequences, and those consequences will be dire!

Just days ago, U.S. fighter jets struck Houthi terrorist targets in Yemen. According to reports, the airstrikes eliminated several senior members of the terrorist organization, which has made attacking commercial ships in the Red Sea a primary objective.
