During a meeting this evening (Tuesday) between U.S. President Donald Trump and King Abdullah II of Jordan, the president addressed the Israeli cabinet’s unyielding decision regarding the hostage deal.

Trump reaffirmed the deadline he set for Hamas and expressed confidence that the group would comply. The president declared, “Hamas must complete the release of all hostages by Saturday, or the entire deal is canceled.”

Trump also discussed plans to relocate Gazan residents to other countries, including Jordan. He expressed optimism about the feasibility of the relocation and stated that Palestinians would be able to live securely on land in Egypt and Jordan. “I think Jordan will take some, and I think other countries will as well. He has a good heart,” Trump said of King Abdullah.

The Jordanian king did not outright reject the idea. “We need to wait and see Egypt’s plan,” he said. When asked whether Jordan would allocate land for Palestinians, he responded, “I must do what is best for my country” and confirmed that “Jordan will take in 2,000 sick Palestinian children.” Abdullah added that “there will be responses from many countries, and Arab leaders will come up with an answer to Trump’s plan for Gaza.”

“If Hamas Does Not Return Our Hostages, the Ceasefire Will End”
Following an in-depth four-hour discussion with the security cabinet this evening, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that all ministers expressed outrage over the horrific condition of the three hostages released last Saturday. He also confirmed full cabinet support for Trump’s demand that all hostages be released by Saturday, and welcomed the president’s revolutionary vision for Gaza’s future.

The prime minister announced that in response to Hamas’ declaration to violate the agreement and halt hostage releases, he had ordered the IDF to amass forces both within and around Gaza. “The unanimous decision by the cabinet is this: If Hamas does not return our hostages by Saturday at noon, the ceasefire will end and the IDF will resume intense combat until Hamas is fully defeated,” Netanyahu declared.

Trump’s firm stance leaves no room for negotiation—Hamas must act swiftly or face the consequences. As the deadline approaches, the pressure mounts, with Israel and the U.S. standing united in their demand for the hostages’ release.
