Former U.S. President Donald Trump announced today (Thursday) in a TRUTH social media post that, under his plan to relocate Gaza’s population to Arab countries, Israel will transfer control of Gaza to the United States after the war concludes.

“There will be stability in the region,” Trump wrote, outlining his vision for a major U.S.-led development project in Gaza. He continued, “the U.S., working with top global development teams, will carefully and gradually build what will become one of the greatest and most spectacular redevelopment projects of its kind in the world.”

He emphasized that no American troops would be required, stating: “No U.S. soldiers will be needed.”

Trump Takes a Jab at Senator Chuck Schumer

In his post, Trump also took aim at Democratic Senator Chuck Schumer, saying: “Palestinians like Schumer could have already been resettled in safer, more beautiful communities.”

White House Officials Stunned by Trump’s Gaza Proposal

Earlier today, The New York Times reported that Trump’s announcement caught senior White House officials off guard, as they had not been consulted on the plan. According to sources, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was informed of the proposal only minutes before the joint press conference with Trump.

Sources inside the administration revealed that Trump had been privately discussing the idea for weeks. The initiative gained momentum after his Middle East envoy, Steve Witkoff, returned from Gaza last week, describing the humanitarian conditions in the Strip as dire.
