Israeli Air Force fighter jets conducted a series of strikes overnight (Sunday to Monday), targeting multiple Hezbollah sites across Lebanon, approximately 20 kilometers north of Metula. According to an IDF spokesperson, “The targets were attacked after their threat to Israel’s home front and IDF forces was presented to the oversight mechanism for the implementation of the Israel-Lebanon understandings and was not addressed.”
Among the targets hit were a rocket launch site, a military installation, and smuggling routes along the Syria-Lebanon border used to transfer weapons to Hezbollah. The IDF emphasized: “The IDF continues to act to eliminate any threat to the State of Israel and will prevent any attempt by Hezbollah to reestablish or enhance its capabilities, in accordance with the ceasefire understandings.”
