Three hostages—Alexander (Sasha) Troufanov (29), Sagui Dekel-Chen (36), and Iair Horn (46)—returned to Israel yesterday (Saturday) after being released from Hamas captivity. The three were safely transferred to Israeli forces and taken to the hospital for medical evaluations and further assessment. With their release, the total number of hostages freed as part of phase one of the deal has risen to 24.

14 Hostages Still Awaiting Release
An additional 14 hostages are expected to be released over the next two weeks. Hamas has informed mediators that eight of them are no longer alive. Among those remaining in captivity are: six hostages from Nir Oz, five hostages aged 50 and older, nine hostages classified as ill or injured, and three members of the Bibas family. Additionally, Avera Mengistu and Hisham al-Sayed, both Israeli civilians who were kidnapped 10 years ago, are expected to be released at the conclusion of this phase of the agreement.
