A new settlement project is taking shape in the Jordan Valley, aiming to encourage IDF reservists to move to the region. Leaders of the movement “Reservists – Generation of Victory” met today (Tuesday) with David Elhayani, Head of the Jordan Valley Regional Council, and Moti Avner, Director of the Council’s Settlements Division, to discuss the details of the initiative and future collaboration. The meeting focused on upcoming steps to promote and implement the plan.

“Reservists, you fought like heroes. Now it’s time to find a home and strengthen the communities of the Jordan Valley,” said Elhayani. “Come live in vibrant communities with young people, a growing population, and a high quality of life. You are warmly welcomed here.”

“A milestone for Israeli sovereignty in the Valley”
Shlomo Sarid, settlement coordinator for “Generation of Victory” (The Israeli Reservists), a movement founded by veterans shortly after the outbreak of the war calling for decisive military victory, emphasized the national significance of the initiative: “Bringing reservists into Israel’s frontier communities—especially in the Jordan Valley—is a critically important Zionist effort in these times. Strengthening these communities is another key step in asserting Israeli sovereignty in the region.”
