Binyamin Sector: Targeted Operation and Arrest of Terror Suspects
Overnight (Monday to Tuesday), as part of a broader effort to thwart terrorism and prevent arms smuggling into Judea and Samaria, IDF forces from the Duvdevan Unit and the Binyamin Regional Brigade operated in the Ramallah area. In a coordinated and timely raid, four major arms dealers were arrested in an operation conducted near their homes.
During the raid, a large quantity of weapons was seized, including a ‘Carlo’-type submachine gun. The suspects were transferred for further interrogation by Israeli security services. In parallel, approximately 20 more wanted individuals were arrested throughout Judea and Samaria during the Shavuot holiday.
