In a joint operation by the Israel Prison Service and the IDF, the arrest of a Hamas operative wanted for incitement to attacks on social media was carried out. The elite “Metzada” tactical unit of the Prison Service, along with IDF forces from the Ephraim Brigade, located in Samaria, operated in the village of Bidya, and executed the arrest. During the operation, forces fired towards a suspect who posed a threat to them, with no casualties reported.

Elimination of Hamas Terror Organization Leader in Jenin

Earlier today, security forces eliminated the leader of the Hamas terror organization in Jenin. The daring operation commenced with actions by undercover units of the Border Police in conjunction with IDF forces from the Menashe Brigade, guided by precise intelligence from the Shin Bet, aimed at arresting the leader of the Hamas terror organization in the area. During the operation and after exchanges of gunfire, the fighters eliminated the terrorist Isar Saadi, the leader of the organization, along with another armed terrorist, and arrested three wanted individuals.

Forces Locate Weapons
During a search conducted by the forces in the building where the terrorist was hiding, they located weaponry including an M-16 rifle, a handgun, and additional arms. Additionally, the forces eliminated another armed terrorist who posed a threat to them in the area. The arrested suspects and confiscated weaponry were transferred to security forces for further handling, with no injuries reported among our forces.
