Over the past 24 hours, Jenin remained at the center of counterterror operations. IDF, Shin Bet, and Border Police forces are carrying out an intensive mission to dismantle armed terror cells. During a wide-scale operation today (Wednesday), Israeli forces discovered over 150 ready-to-detonate explosive devices meant to target IDF troops entering the refugee camp.
Terrorist Hideout Discovered
During searches in residential buildings, security forces found large quantities of weapons, including firearms, magazines, and military equipment. A special forces team from the Egoz Unit raided a hideout apartment used by terrorists, uncovering an active bomb-making workshop filled with explosives and advanced components for assembling improvised explosive devices (IEDs).

Operation Expands to Tulkarm
As part of efforts to escalate pressure on terrorist organizations, the operation was expanded to Tulkarm, a known stronghold of armed terror cells. Forces operated in neighborhoods across the city and its adjacent refugee camp, eliminating 18 terrorists who attempted to plant explosives and carry out attacks against IDF soldiers.

Additionally, 60 wanted suspects linked to terrorist activities were apprehended, including key operatives from Hamas and Islamic Jihad.

Unrelenting Fight Against Terror
In a precision operation, engineering units from the Judea and Samaria Division destroyed over 30 explosive devices planted along strategic routes in the city, including concealed bombs designed to detonate as IDF forces passed. An undercover Duvdevan Unit team carried out a targeted raid on a weapons depot, seizing M-16 rifles, pistols, and large amounts of ammunition.
The counterterror campaign in Judea and Samaria continues at full intensity, focusing on precision strikes and securing operational control on the ground. Security forces emphasize that the operation will persist as long as necessary to prevent terrorist organizations from regaining strength and to safeguard Israeli civilians.
