The IDF carried out airstrikes this evening (Sunday) on Hezbollah military facilities containing weapons and ammunition after detecting Hezbollah activity, which the IDF Spokesperson described as “a violation of understandings between Israel and Lebanon.”
During Nasrallah’s Funeral, Israeli Fighter Jets Patrol Beirut Skies
Fears of further strikes ran high in Lebanon today, following the funeral of Hezbollah’s former Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah, who was eliminated five months ago by Israel during Operation ‘New Order.’
Diplomatic sources told the newspaper Al-Akhbar that Qatar held urgent talks with the United States and other nations to ensure “clear guarantees” that Israel would not use the event as a pretext for additional strikes.

According to the sources, Hezbollah conveyed threatening messages through mediators, warning that “any Israeli military action during the funeral would lead to immediate escalation along the northern border.” However, Hezbollah then unsurprisingly made the decision to covertly attempt to take violent aggressive actions themselves.
Defense Minister: “You Will Specialize in Funerals – We Will Specialize in Victories”
Defense Minister Israel Katz responded to the threats from the terror organization: “Israeli Air Force jets currently circling over Nasrallah’s funeral are delivering a clear message – those who threaten and attack Israel will meet this fate. You will specialize in funerals – and we will specialize in victories.”
The IDF’s decisive strike in southern Lebanon sends a clear message of deterrence amid rising regional tensions. Despite Hezbollah’s warnings of escalation, Israel remains firm in its stance, signaling that any threat will be met with swift and powerful action.
