Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana delivered a speech today at the 150th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, where he discussed Israel’s military campaign in Gaza.
“The war will not end until all the hostages are returned to their homes and security is restored to Israel,” Ohana said, addressing the IPU plenary, which includes 193 member states—among them Iran and several Arab countries.

This Is What ‘From the River to the Sea’ Really Means
From the podium, Ohana displayed a map that was found in a kindergarten in Khan Younis during recent fighting, showing all of Israel labeled as “Palestine.”
“This is the meaning of the chant ‘From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free’—a call for a Palestine without Jews. A call for a Judenrein Palestine.
This kind of ideology made October 7 possible. Lasting peace will be achieved only through a united and firm stance—by Muslims, Christians, Jews, and people of all faiths—against the forces of evil led by the Iranian regime of the ayatollahs.”

The event took place during a historic visit by the Knesset Speaker to Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, and as the IDF continues its intensified operations on multiple fronts.

Earlier today, Ohana met with Dr. Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Defense, Interior, and Foreign Affairs Committee of the United Arab Emirates’ Federal National Council. He also held diplomatic meetings with parliamentary leaders and representatives from India, Ethiopia, Azerbaijan, Belgium, the United Kingdom, and other countries.
