“We Will Discuss the Critical Challenges Ahead”

“I am now heading to Washington for a very important meeting with President Trump,” Netanyahu said before boarding the plane. “The fact that this will be his first meeting with a foreign leader since his inauguration carries great significance for the State of Israel.”

According to the Prime Minister, this meeting underscores the strength of the alliance between Israel and the United States. “Secondly,” he added, “it also highlights the depth of our relationship—one that has already brought tremendous achievements for Israel and the region. A relationship that led to the historic peace agreements between Israel and four Arab nations—the ‘Abraham Accords,’ which President Trump spearheaded.”

“I believe that in our meetings, we will discuss the critical challenges ahead—defeating Hamas, securing the return of all our hostages, and countering the Iranian axis in all its forms, an axis that threatens Israel’s security, the Middle East, and the entire world.”

“We Have Already Transformed the Middle East”

Netanyahu stated that the decisions made by his government during the war, along with the actions of IDF soldiers, “have already transformed the Middle East beyond recognition.”

“I believe that through dedicated work with President Trump, we can reshape it even further for the better.”

“We can strengthen Israel’s security. We can expand the circle of peace even further. And we can bring about an era of prosperity, security, and peace that we never even dreamed of—an era built on strength. The strength of our soldiers, the strength of our citizens, the strength of Israel, and the strength of the Israel-U.S. alliance. With God’s help, we will do it—With God’s help, we will succeed.”
