Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu came to the defense of billionaire Elon Musk today (Thursday), who had received an onslaught of online criticism for making a gesture that resembled a Nazi salute during his speech celebrating Trump’s inauguration.
Netanyahu wrote on his X (formerly Twitter) account: “Musk is being defamed with lies. He is a great friend of Israel. He visited Israel after the October 7th massacre. Since then, he has consistently and strongly supported Israel’s right to defend itself. I thank him for that.”
.@elonmusk is being falsely smeared.
