Netanyahu in Washington: Hostage Deal Negotiations Move Forward

Prime Minister Netanyahu has ordered a negotiating delegation to Doha as part of the second phase of the deal with Hamas | Key topics on the table: IDF withdrawal in exchange for hostage releases and the question of ending the war.

According to reports, the delegation is expected to address critical issues, including a potential IDF withdrawal from Gaza in exchange for the release of hostages and the return of fallen soldiers.

Netanyahu: “We Will Wipe Out Hamas and Bring Our People Home”
“Or, Eli, and Ohad returned home today. Sara and I embrace them and their dear families,”Netanyahu said. He added: “Once again, we have seen the true nature of Hamas—monsters. These are the same monsters who butchered our civilians and tormented our hostages. And I tell them again: their blood is on their own heads.”

Netanyahu emphasized, “President Trump fully agreed with me: We will do everything to bring back all the hostages, but Hamas will not exist. We will eliminate Hamas and bring our hostages home. This is the directive—and that is what we will do.”

Cabinet Meeting Upon Netanyahu’s Return
Currently in Washington, D.C., Netanyahu is scheduled to return to Israel tomorrow (Sunday) in the afternoon and will convene a Security Cabinet meeting. During the meeting, officials will receive an updated situation report on the negotiations and discuss the progress toward implementing the next phase of the deal.
