IDF forces under the command of the Gaza Division located and destroyed a 25-barrel rocket launcher embedded in Hamas terrorist infrastructure in the Tel Sultan neighborhood of Rafah. During the operation, dozens of terrorists were killed, and several suspects were apprehended and transferred to Israel for questioning by Unit 504.
Weapons Found Hidden in Former School
With intelligence support from the ISA (Shin Bet) and the IDF’s Military Intelligence Directorate (AMAN), troops successfully completed the encirclement of the neighborhood within just four hours. During their sweep, they uncovered and destroyed additional explosives stored in a Hamas compound that had formerly operated as the Al-Fadallah school. The IDF continued operations to locate and dismantle additional terror infrastructure in the area.

As the broader campaign continues, the IDF remains firmly committed to protecting Israeli civilians, and is pursuing its mission to combat terrorist organizations in Gaza with determination and consistency.
