The Israeli Foreign Ministry launched a sharp attack this morning (Friday) against French President Emmanuel Macron. In a post published on the ministry’s official X account, it wrote:
“President Macron’s crusade against the Jewish state continues. Facts do not interest him. There is no humanitarian siege. That is a blatant lie. Israel is currently facilitating humanitarian aid to Gaza through two parallel efforts.”
“Instead of pressuring the jihadist terrorists, Macron wants to reward them”
“In the first effort, nearly 900 aid trucks have entered Gaza from Israel this week. Hundreds of those trucks are still waiting to be collected and distributed by the UN inside Gaza.
The second effort is the new humanitarian fund for Gaza, which began operating this week. It has already delivered two million meals and tens of thousands of aid packages. This direct assistance to Gaza’s population—bypassing Hamas—is already changing the reality on the ground. It has the potential to seriously harm the terrorists and shorten the war.
But instead of putting pressure on the jihadist terrorists, Macron wants to reward them with a Palestinian state,” the statement continued.
“There is no doubt that his national holiday would be October 7. And while Israel is under attack on multiple fronts in an attempt to destroy it, Macron seeks to impose sanctions on us. Hamas, for its part, has already praised Macron’s remarks. Hamas knows why,” the post concluded.

“A clear message to Macron and his friends”

The ministry’s unusual move follows comments made earlier today by Defense Minister Israel Katz. During a visit to the community of Sa-Nur, he said that the cabinet’s decision to establish 22 new communities in Judea and Samaria sends “a clear message to Macron and his friends: They can recognize a Palestinian state on paper—we will build the Jewish-Israeli state here on the ground. That paper will be thrown into the dustbin of history, and the State of Israel will flourish and thrive.”
“You will not bring us to our knees”
“Do not threaten us with sanctions, because you will not bring us to our knees. The State of Israel will not bow its head to threats. We are a people with a long and glorious history. We will stand tall and continue to lead the State of Israel on a strong and secure path—until victory,” Katz declared.
