The IDF and ISA (Israel Security Agency, or Shin Bet) are continuing Operation “Gideon’s Chariots” across the Gaza Strip, carrying out a broad offensive against terror infrastructure and operatives involved in the horrific attacks of October 7. In the past 24 hours, more than 115 terror targets were hit across the Strip, including tunnels, rocket launchers, military compounds, operational facilities, and armed terrorist cells.
Infiltrated Israel – and Eliminated
Among those eliminated was Mohammad Shahin, a Hamas Nukhba operative from the East Jabalia Battalion, who infiltrated Israel during the murderous surprise attack in October and took part in the massacre. The targeted strike was carried out by an Israeli Air Force aircraft, directed by the IDF’s 162nd Division, with intelligence support from the Military Intelligence Directorate and the Shin Bet.
Alongside the aerial strikes, the Israeli Navy also operated overnight in northern Gaza, in coordination with ground forces. The objective was to target maritime terror infrastructure and support the continued ground maneuver.
Mohammed Sinwar Confirmed Eliminated
Earlier today, security officials confirmed that Mohammed Sinwar, head of the Hamas terror organization in the Gaza Strip, was definitively eliminated along with senior members of the group.
