A Vibrant and Colorful Journey Through a Fantasy World
In Zion Square, a magical forest has been created, featuring a giant mushroom, glowing butterflies, and fairies that will light up the night. From there, through the Knight’s Alley in Nahalat Shiva, visitors will find themselves surrounded by knights and dragons.

As if taken straight from a children’s storybook – Hansel and Gretel’s candy house, towering at 8 meters high, stands in Cat Square, alongside stunning projections on the walls of the nearby museum.

‘Jerusalem from the Fairy Tales’: A Cultural Celebration in Public Spaces
Mayor of Jerusalem, Moshe Lion: “Come and experience something truly unique in a city like no other in the world. The journey from Zion Square, through Yoel Moshe Salomon Street, and up to Cat Square will become a magical and colorful adventure in a fairy-tale world. ‘Jerusalem from the Fairy Tales’ is part of our initiative to develop and enhance the city center, enrich the cultural and commercial experience, and bring engaging cultural events into public spaces.”

This initiative, led by the Jerusalem Municipality’s Operations Administration in collaboration with Eden Company and produced by Ortal Productions, will launch during Purim – beginning Friday, March 14, 2025 – and will continue through the Passover holiday.
