Israeli Paramedics to Provide 24/7 Medical Support at Holy Site in Poland

United Hatzalah prepares for the pilgrimage to Rabbi Elimelech of Lizhensk: A special coordination meeting was held at the national headquarters in Jerusalem ahead of the arrival of thousands of Hasidic visitors to the holy site in Poland.

A special coordination meeting was held this morning (Thursday) at the national headquarters of United Hatzalah in Jerusalem in preparation for the pilgrimage of Rabbi Elimelech of Lizhensk in the Polish town of Lizhensk. Thousands of Hasidim from around the world are expected to visit the holy site over the coming weekend, with special preparations being made to ensure their safety and well-being.

As part of the preparations, with the assistance of the Lizhensk Hospitality Organization, a United Hatzalah medical clinic will be set up near the holy site, alongside dedicated emergency response stations for medical teams. Paramedics and medics from United Hatzalah will be stationed on-site in shifts around the clock to provide immediate medical assistance in case of emergencies.

At the request of the event organizers, a special delegation of paramedics and medics from Israel will depart for Poland next week. Additionally, a United Hatzalah ambulance from Ukraine will be positioned near the holy site to provide full medical coverage for the thousands of worshipers expected to visit.
