In a coordinated and sensitive operation near the city of Nablus this morning (Tuesday), undercover Border Police officers—part of the Mista’arvim unit (Israeli special forces trained to operate disguised as Arabs)—alongside IDF soldiers and Shin Bet agents, arrested a terrorist wanted for involvement in terror activity. The forces approached the target covertly, disguised as civilians and equipped with precise intelligence provided by the Shin Bet.

As the team closed in on the compound where the suspect was hiding, the Mista’arvim spotted another man running toward them. The fighters responded by shooting him in the lower body and later confirmed the hit. At the same time, the wanted terrorist was located inside the compound and arrested without resistance.

The arrested suspect was transferred to the Shin Bet for further investigation. The operation, which was both precise and sophisticated, concluded without any casualties among IDF forces.

The Israel Police, Shin Bet, and IDF emphasized that cooperation between the security agencies will continue. The Mista’arvim units of the Border Police will keep working side by side with the Shin Bet and IDF to thwart terrorism across Judea and Samaria—for the safety of Israel’s citizens.
