The Lebanese network Al-Mayadeen, which is aligned with Hezbollah, reported this evening (Tuesday) that the Air Force struck three times in the Western area of Baqa’a. The media in Lebanon attribute a broad wave of attacks against Hezbollah targets, to Israel.

Weapon Depots and Terror Infrastructure of Hezbollah
According to estimates, the targets that were attacked are Hezbollah’s weapon depots and terror infrastructure, as part of ongoing efforts to weaken Hezbollah’s capabilities in the northern front.

Arabic sources report that so far there are no casualties from the strikes, and the extent of the damage caused to the targets is unclear at this time.

Syrian Forces Repel Hezbollah at the Border
All of this comes against the backdrop of rising tensions in the Syria-Lebanon border, reaching a new peak as Syrian forces repelled Hezbollah terrorists from the town of Hosh al-Sayed Ali, which the organization had controlled since 2013. According to reports from the Al-Arabiya network, the Syrian forces clarified that they would not continue to advance into Lebanon and would remain within Syrian territory.

At the same time, the Syrian army has sent significant reinforcements to the border area with Lebanon, further increasing tensions in the region.
