Three new F-35i “Adir” fighter jets, manufactured by Lockheed Martin, landed yesterday at the Israeli Air Force’s Nevatim Airbase, the IDF Spokesperson announced Friday.
The new aircraft will join the Israeli Air Force and the “Golden Eagle” Squadron (140th Squadron), continuing the steady expansion of Israel’s advanced fighter fleet.
Expanding Operational Capabilities
The arrival of the new jets comes at a time when the F-35i fleet is operating under unprecedented operational pressure, regularly participating in both defensive and offensive missions across multiple fronts.
With the addition of these new aircraft, the Israeli Air Force is expected to enhance its ability to meet diverse threats, maintaining high operational effectiveness, speed, and precision.

Massive Airlift to Israel
In parallel, more than 10 heavy U.S. Air Force transport planes have landed in recent weeks at Nevatim Airbase.
According to estimates, this represents a major airlift of advanced munitions and weaponry, including bunker-busting bombs and specialized strike systems, as part of possible preparations for an operation against Iran—according to a report published yesterday in The New York Times.
