The IDF continues its series of assassinations in Iran. Yesterday (Sunday), four senior Iranian intelligence officials were killed, including the head of the Intelligence Organization of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). Israeli fighter jets, guided by precise intelligence from the Military Intelligence Directorate, struck a building in the Tehran area where several senior regime intelligence officials were present.

Head of the Quds Force Intelligence Division
The strike eliminated the head of the IRGC Intelligence Organization and his deputy, as well as the head of the Quds Force Intelligence Division and his deputy. These officials played a central role in shaping Iran’s strategic intelligence assessments and planning terrorist operations against Israel, the West, and regional states.

Head of the Intelligence Organization
The head of the IRGC Intelligence Organization, Mohammad Kazemi, has held the position since 2022 and was responsible for counterintelligence, espionage, and suppressing regime opposition within Iran.

As head of the organization, he was tasked with compiling intelligence for terror operations and monitoring Iranian citizens to suppress dissent and maintain the regime’s grip on power. His deputy, Mohammad Hassan Mahkaki, previously chaired the Strategic Intelligence Division and played a key role in the regime’s terror operations against Israel, the West, and neighboring countries.

Part of Iran’s Regional Entrenchment
The heads of the Quds Force Intelligence Division, Mohsen Baqeri and his deputy Abu al-Fadl Nikouei, were primarily responsible for operational and intelligence support to members of the “resistance axis,” including Hezbollah, Hamas, the Houthis, and militias in Iraq. Baqeri and Nikouei played a significant role in Iran’s entrenchment efforts in Syria and supported Hezbollah’s force buildup in Lebanon.

The elimination of these senior officials follows the assassination of the head of the Intelligence Directorate of Iran’s Armed Forces General Staff, who was killed last Friday, and constitutes a major blow to the regime’s intelligence assessment and operational capabilities to carry out terror attacks against Israel.
