Explosions were heard earlier today (Wednesday) in the Yemeni capital of Sana’a, near the international airport. The IDF announced that it had carried out an airstrike on the airport and on aircraft belonging to the Houthi rebels.

According to the IDF, the targeted aircraft had been used to transport terrorists who were planning attacks against Israel. The military added that the airport is regularly operated by the Houthi regime and is used for terrorist activities—similar to the ports of Hudaydah and As-Salif, which were struck last week.

The IDF emphasized that it will continue to act forcefully wherever there is a threat to the citizens of Israel.

Defense Minister Confirms
Defense Minister Israel Katz confirmed that the Israeli Air Force struck Houthi targets at the airport in Sana’a, the capital of Yemen. Among the targets, he said, was “the last aircraft still in use by the Houthis,” which was destroyed.
