A ray of light in the darkness: Harel Wiesel, owner of the Fox Group, along with philanthropist Shay Graucher, donated a new car to the Gez family, who lost their wife and mother, Tzeela z”l, in a terror attack on her way to give birth.
The idea for the gift came after the father, Chananel Gez, shared during the shiva that he was struggling to get to his infant son, Ravid Chaim who has been hospitalized since birth – after their car was destroyed in the attack.

“It breaks the heart, but doesn’t break the spirit”
“A father who only wants to reach his son – a baby born without a mother – it breaks the heart, but doesn’t break the spirit,” Graucher wrote in a message. “Today, together with dedicated partners and donors, we gave him the car.”

Graucher added that 594 days have passed since October 7, and that even in the midst of sorrow, “the people of Israel are showing deep solidarity and rebuilding. Even today, we received heartbreaking news. But through the tears, we choose to come together. To give. To love.”
He ended with a moving prayer for Chananel’s son: “In the merit of this pure child, Ravid Chaim ben Tzeela z”l – we will continue to pray together for a miracle. An entire nation embraces you.”
