Hundreds of Weapons Seized
The operation, ongoing for more than 100 days, is focused on dismantling organized terrorist infrastructure in key hotspots throughout the region. Since the operation began, about 450 different weapons have been confiscated. Hundreds of belly charges and pipe bombs have been destroyed, and dozens of homes used as workshops for the production of explosives and weapons have been demolished.

Preventative Actions
To prevent the re-establishment of terrorist infrastructure in the region, the IDF is making changes within refugee camps, including opening new access routes to improve the freedom of movement and operational flexibility for security forces.

As part of this initiative, the IDF Central Command has announced its intention to demolish several houses, following extensive review, aiming to limit demolition to the minimum necessary for security.

Eliminating Terrorist Strongholds
Central Command Chief Maj. Gen. Avi Blot presented the achievements of Operation “Iron Wall” at a recent conference of heads of councils in Judea and Samaria. He emphasized the targeted anti-terror activity in northern Samaria and its impact on regional stability.

“In recent months,” Blot said, “we have intensified our war on terrorism and launched Operation ‘Iron Wall,’ led by the Judea and Samaria Division with great success.”

He noted that the operation focuses on dismantling terrorist strongholds in northern Samaria: “We are operating in the refugee camps, carrying out significant operations that are transforming the entire region.”
