During the attack, significant military infrastructure was destroyed, including an underground site used for the development and production of weapons, as well as smuggling routes along the Syria-Lebanon border that facilitated the transfer of arms to the terrorist organization.

Events Leading Up to the Strikes

The airstrikes were launched following the interception of a Hezbollah reconnaissance UAV that was en route to Israeli territory yesterday (Thursday). The incident was deemed a violation of the ceasefire understandings between Israel and Lebanon.

The IDF emphasized that while Israel remains committed to maintaining the ceasefire agreements, its forces are deployed across southern Lebanon, prepared to respond and neutralize any immediate threats to Israel and its security forces.
