The IDF spokesperson allowed the publication this evening (Saturday) that during the fighting in the Gaza Strip, the bodies of hostages were found. Currently, forces are still operating in the area, conducting the retrieval and identification of the bodies, a process that will continue for several hours.

The IDF has requested that the public refrain from spreading rumors.

Additionally, last week the IDF successfully rescued two more hostages: one was a body whose name has not been released for publication, and the other, Farhan Qadi, who was reunited with his family alive.

About two weeks ago, the bodies of hostages Avraham Mundar, Nadav Poplovel, Yagav Buchstab, Yoram Metzger, Chaim Peri, and Alex Danzig were recovered and brought back for burial in Israel.
