Terrorists Eliminated
Shortly afterward, a tank unit carried out precise fire, eliminating three of the terrorists on the ground. An Israeli Air Force aircraft then identified and struck the remaining members of the cell, eliminating four more. In total, seven terrorists were killed in the incident.

The operation was directed by the IDF Intelligence Directorate and carried out with support from the Shin Bet, as part of Gideon’s Chariots, led by the Southern Command. In parallel, the 401st Brigade Combat Team engaged terrorists attempting to move weapons and eliminated them in an airstrike. Meanwhile, forces from the 179th Brigade raided a building and discovered a large cache of weapons, which was fully destroyed.

Dozens of Terror Targets Struck
Simultaneously, the Israeli Air Force struck dozens of terror targets across the Gaza Strip. Among them were military buildings, observation and sniper posts, weapons storage facilities, and terrorist infrastructure that posed a threat to ground forces. The IDF emphasized that the fighting will continue “wherever necessary – until the threat to the State of Israel is removed.”
