The operation, named “Long Arm,” involved multiple squadrons, including F-35I “Adir,” F-15I “Ra’am,” and F-16I “Sufa” fighter jets. These aircraft were supported by aerial refueling tankers and intelligence-gathering planes, enabling them to reach targets approximately 2,000 kilometers from Israel.

Targets included power stations, fuel depots, and port facilities used by the Houthi rebels for military purposes. The IDF reported that the strikes aimed to disrupt the Houthis’ ability to launch attacks against Israel and to impede their supply lines from Iran.

The operation was conducted in response to a series of drone and missile attacks launched by the Houthis toward Israeli territory. The IDF emphasized that such provocations would be met with decisive action to protect Israeli citizens and sovereignty.
