The war in the Gaza Strip continues, and the IDF is reporting significant progress. In recent operations, Israeli forces uncovered a major underground network beneath the European Hospital in Khan Younis, eliminated two senior operatives from the Mujahideen Brigades, and recovered the bodies of hostages.
Battlefield Achievements
In recent weeks, the IDF has dealt serious blows to the capabilities of terrorist organizations in Gaza, resulting in key victories. Among them was the destruction of an extensive underground system beneath the European Hospital in Khan Younis, which included intelligence materials, weapons, and command centers.
The IDF also eliminated senior operatives in the Mujahideen Brigades — a terror group responsible, among other crimes, for the murder and abduction of the Bibas family on October 7, as well as additional attacks. These targeted strikes have significantly disrupted the leadership and coordination abilities of such organizations.

Hostage Recovery
This past week, the IDF intensified efforts to rescue hostages kidnapped by Hamas during the war. On Saturday, the IDF Spokesperson announced that the body of Nattapong Pinta z”l, a Thai civilian, was recovered from the Rafah refugee camp in southern Gaza. The recovery was carried out in a joint covert operation by the IDF and the Shin Bet. His body was transferred to Israeli territory and identified that afternoon.

Suspension of Humanitarian Aid
Due to new threats from Hamas, the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip has once again been suspended. The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) reported that Hamas issued threats against aid distribution personnel, prompting a halt in operations out of concern for their safety. These threats endanger the lives of hundreds of thousands of Gazans, many of whom are now left without food.

This suspension especially harms the civilian population of Gaza, which already suffers from severe infrastructure and security challenges as a result of the fighting. Despite the risks, GHF has pledged to resume aid delivery as soon as possible.
Continuing the Campaign
Despite the progress made on the battlefield and the substantial damage inflicted on terror groups, the fighting in Gaza is not yet over. The IDF has made clear that it will continue to act against Hamas and its affiliated organizations as long as the conditions for releasing the hostages remain unmet.
