An Israeli expert delegation from the IDF and Ministry of Defense landed in Bangkok on Sunday morning to join the international aid effort following the powerful earthquake that struck South Asia last Friday. The team’s mission is to provide professional guidance and assistance to Thai authorities as they respond to the disaster’s aftermath.

Technical Support and Situation Assessment
The team includes population officers and engineering specialists from the National Rescue Unit of the Home Front Command, working in coordination with the IDF’s Tevel Division (international cooperation). Upon arrival, the team began assembling an updated field assessment and is sharing advanced technological expertise with their Thai counterparts.
