The IDF continues to operate with full force on all fronts. Last night (Sunday to Monday), the IDF reported the elimination of two Hamas commanders. On Saturday night, Hamas announced that Salah al-Bardawil, a member of the organization’s political bureau, was eliminated in an Israeli strike in Khan Younis along with his wife. According to Arab reports, 17 additional Gazans were killed in the attack. IDF forces have also completed the encirclement of the Tel Sultan neighborhood in Rafah.
The Israeli Home Front Command issued new guidelines for residents in the Gaza area, easing restrictions on gathering.

20:30 – Two Hamas Commanders Eliminated
The IDF reported the elimination of Deputy commander of Hamas’ Gaza Brigade, Ahmad Salman ‘Awj Shimali, who was responsible for operations, planning Hamas’ offensive strategy, and building the brigade’s force in preparation for the brutal massacre on Oct 7, and Commander of Hamas’ Shejaiya Battalion, Jamil Wadiya, who was responsible for deploying the battalion’s forces against IDF troops and operated to restore and reorganize the battalion. He was also involved in an attack in which Daniel Viflic, 16, was murdered.

The IDF and Shin Bet (ISA) confirmed that Salah al-Bardawil, head of Hamas’ Planning and Development Office, was eliminated in an airstrike in southern Gaza. Al-Bardawil was a senior figure in Hamas’ political bureau and played a key role in the organization’s strategic and military planning.

IDF forces, led by Southern Command, have been conducting extensive operations across Gaza in recent days. Under the guidance of Military Intelligence (Aman) and the Shin Bet, forces have destroyed terror infrastructure, rocket launchers, and eliminated dozens of terrorists. The 252nd Division and Gaza Division (143rd) are operating in multiple areas to expand the security perimeter.
Fighter jets, aerial drones, and naval vessels continue to strike targets, providing close air and sea support to ground forces.

13:25 – IDF: “Our Forces Have Completed the Encirclement of Tel Sultan Neighborhood in Rafah”
The IDF confirms that in recent hours, Israeli forces have successfully completed the encirclement of the Tel Sultan neighborhood in Rafah.


This operation aims to dismantle terror infrastructure, eliminate terrorists in the area, deepen Israeli control, and expand the security perimeter in southern Gaza.
During the night, IDF forces surrounded the area, conducted strikes that eliminated multiple terrorists, and raided a Hamas command and control facility that had been used in recent months as an operational hub for the terror organization.
09:21 – IDF Continues Ground Operations in Northern Gaza
The IDF is continuing its ground operations in northern Gaza. Yesterday, Israeli forces began operating in the Beit Hanoun area in northern Gaza to dismantle Hamas terror infrastructure and expand the security perimeter in the region.
The IDF is facilitating the evacuation of civilians from the combat zone for their safety. During the operation, fighter jets targeted multiple Hamas terror sites and infrastructure in the area.
The IDF Spokesperson stated: “The IDF will continue to act against terrorist organizations in Gaza to protect the citizens of Israel.”

Israeli military spokesman to the Arab world, Col. Avichay Adraee, issued an urgent warning to Gaza residents in the Tel Sultan area of Rafah:
“The IDF has launched an operation against terrorist organizations. The area you are in is considered a dangerous combat zone. Gush Katif Street is designated as a humanitarian corridor for safe passage toward the Mawasi area. We warn you: Moving by vehicle, staying in shelters, tents, or houses, or traveling on unauthorized roads endangers your lives and those of your families. Evacuate immediately,” he wrote on his X account.

Hamas confirmed that Salah al-Bardawil, a senior political bureau member, was killed in an Israeli strike in Khan Younis alongside his wife.
Al-Bardawil was one of the most prominent figures in Hamas’ political leadership and the third senior bureau member eliminated in Gaza since the IDF resumed operations after the breakdown of the ceasefire. He was a key spokesperson and played a significant role in shaping Hamas’ public messaging and policy. His elimination is a significant blow to Hamas leadership in Gaza.
IDF Also Operating on the Northern Front
The northern border was disrupted yesterday when six rockets were launched from Lebanon toward Metula. Three were intercepted by Israel’s air defense system. In a swift response, the Air Force struck dozens of Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon, including in the coastal city of Tyre, north of the Litani River.

The IDF emphasized that this was a “severe violation of understandings” and that Lebanon bears full responsibility for any aggression originating from its territory. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz instructed the IDF to respond forcefully. The official statement declared: “Metula and Beirut are the same—we will not allow any harm to Israel’s sovereignty or its citizens.”
