IAF Lions Never Sleep: Precision Airstrikes Further Weaken Iran’s Offensive Capabilities

A series of targeted Israeli Air Force strikes in Iran disrupted planned missile barrages, eliminated senior IRGC personnel, and struck symbolic regime infrastructure, establishing greater aerial freedom and lowering Tehran's capability to launch attacks on Israel.

IDF Spokesperson Brig. Gen. Effie Defrin stated today (Monday) that Israel has successfully reduced the volume of missile salvos launched at its territory due to proactive operations by the Israeli Air Force.

“Using this method, we struck in central Iran, at a base called Raat 5. We targeted two missile launchers that were ready for immediate launch. This operation reduced the last barrage,” said Defrin. He added, “Every base from which launches were detected since the start of the operation has been struck and damaged.”

Defrin emphasized that the Air Force continues to strike all links in the missile production and deployment chain: “We continue targeting the entire value chain of missile production – from the missile itself to the launcher, including those for future use. Our aircraft are currently positioned above the launch zones.”

According to Defrin, Israel’s goal is not the total destruction of the Iranian Air Force but rather ensuring air superiority: “For us, that’s not the goal – it’s the means. We want aerial freedom over Iran – and it’s happening. The Air Force is operating in every sector, effectively confronting and destroying Iranian air defenses and air force capabilities.”

Strike on IRGC Command Building
In a related development, Israeli security sources estimate that hundreds of IRGC personnel were eliminated within minutes during the most recent wave of precision airstrikes in central Tehran. The attacks reportedly struck command centers without prior evacuation warnings.

“Many of the headquarters were attacked while fully staffed, with the goal of neutralizing as many IRGC personnel as possible,” noted one source. The strike targeted military command buildings and aimed not only to disrupt infrastructure but to inflict direct losses on Iran’s military manpower.

Strike on Access Road to Fordow
Alongside the strikes in Tehran, a security official confirmed that the IDF also targeted the access road to the Fordow nuclear facility, though not the facility itself. Fordow, a highly sensitive site buried beneath a mountain, was previously struck by the U.S. Air Force. Israel’s latest action aimed to deny access to the site.

Strike on Symbolic Targets
Iranian sources report that the Israeli Air Force also struck symbolic regime targets in Tehran, including the Ministry of Energy building, the University of Tehran campus—associated with the ruling elite—and the headquarters of the state television network. These strikes were intended not only to impair infrastructure but to undercut the regime’s ideological and propaganda arms at a time of mounting internal tension.

IAF Refuels Midair-watch:

Defense Minister Israel Katz declared earlier, “For every rocket fired at the home front – the Iranian dictator will be punished. The strikes will continue at full force.” That threat is a clear and unfolding reality.
