Ongoing Strikes in the Gaza Strip
Meanwhile, fighting in the Gaza Strip continues as the IDF carries out ongoing air and artillery strikes across the area. Air Force jets attacked terror targets in the northern Gaza cities of Beit Lahia and Jabalia, alongside heavy artillery fire directed at the Shuja’iyya neighborhood in eastern Gaza City and residential areas in eastern Khan Younis, located in the southern part of the strip.

Following the evacuation announcement earlier today by IDF Arabic spokesperson Avichay Adraee, urging residents of Khan Younis, Bani Suheila, and Abasan to immediately move westward to the humanitarian area in Mawasi, hundreds of residents have begun moving from east to west.

In a separate statement, the Hamas terror organization addressed an IDF operation allegedly carried out this morning: “A special Zionist force entered the city of Khan Younis, disguised as women, and attempted to abduct the commander of the Al-Nasser Salah al-Deen Brigades, Ahmad Kamel Sarhan, who thwarted the operation and became a martyr in direct confrontation with the force. We affirm that the ongoing Zionist terror and increasing threats of forced evacuation and displacement, the latest of which took place this morning in Khan Younis, will not shake our people’s resolve nor push them to submit to displacement plans,” the statement read.
