Against the backdrop of rising tensions on Israel’s northern border, the IDF continues its extensive operational activities to thwart security threats in southern Lebanon, in line with the ceasefire agreements.
During an IDF sweep conducted by the 769th Brigade, forces discovered concealed weapons stockpiles, containing missiles, rockets, mortars, grenades, explosive devices, and firearms. In addition, heavily camouflaged multi-barrel rocket launchers, pre-positioned for future attacks on Israel, were identified in forested areas.

Security sources assess that the weapons were intended for Hezbollah’s use in a potential escalation against Israel.
