Greta’s Flotilla is Safe From Hamas at Last

After Israeli naval commandos from Shayetet 13 took control of the “Freedom Flotilla,” which carried 12 pro-Palestinian activists, the vessel was brought to Ashdod: The activists will be deported from Israel after being shown a video of Hamas atrocities.

Following the takeover of the vessel by Shayetet 13 commandos, the flotilla—dubbed the “Freedom Flotilla” and carrying 12 pro-Palestinian activists, including climate activist Greta Thunberg—arrived this evening (Monday) at the port of Ashdod.

To Be Declared Persona Non Grata
In line with instructions from Defense Minister Israel Katz, the activists will be shown a video documenting the October 7 Hamas atrocities. Afterward, they will be sent to Ben Gurion Airport and flown back to their respective countries.

They’ll See Who Hamas Really Is
“It’s only fitting that the antisemitic Greta and her Hamas-supporting friends see exactly who the terrorist organization Hamas is—the one they came to support and are acting on behalf of,” said Katz.

Quick and Quiet Operation
As reported, Israeli naval commandos from Shayetet 13 boarded the vessel Madleen overnight as it attempted to reach Gaza as part of the flotilla. The 12 activists on board, including Thunberg, surrendered upon the IDF’s arrival. The takeover was swift, quiet, and without casualties.

A Publicity Stunt
The flotilla’s organizers claimed the mission aimed to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza. However, the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs clarified that the ship carried only a minimal amount of supplies—less than what a single aid truck would deliver—and that the effort was in fact a publicity stunt. The Navy carried out the operation professionally and decisively, and the Foreign Ministry stated that the activists would be returned to their home countries as soon as possible.

Katz added: “The IDF will continue its morally just war against the Hamas murderers until their defeat, the release of all the hostages, and the full restoration of Israel’s security.”
