Under the command of Southern Command and guided by Military Intelligence and the ISA (Shin Bet), IDF forces continue their operations throughout the Gaza Strip as part of Operation “Gideon’s Chariots.” Over the past 24 hours (Wednesday), the IDF struck dozens of terror targets from both the air and ground, as part of the ongoing campaign against terrorist organizations.

“The explosions indicate weapons depots”
At the heart of the operation was a strike on a military structure where terrorists were present while loading combat equipment. Division 252 forces carried out the strike, also destroying a Hamas weapons production facility. According to the IDF, the structure served as an active military installation.
Simultaneously, the combat team of the 179th Brigade destroyed several additional Hamas military buildings. Secondary explosions were recorded following the strikes – a sign that weapons had been stored inside the structures.
The strikes were carried out with high precision and based on prior intelligence.
Air Force struck targets across the Strip
The Israeli Air Force continued its assault, striking dozens of targets throughout the Gaza Strip overnight and into the morning. Among the targets were terrorists, observation and sniper posts, operational apartments, tunnels, and terror infrastructure. These attacks were carried out in coordination with maneuvering ground forces, with the goal of removing threats from the area.
